Join Our Community Fruit Tree Order
Hello friends & neighbors,
With cooler weather and fruit tree planting season approaching, now is the time to plan for future harvests. An orchard planted today can provide fresh food for your family, something to share with neighbors, and a connection to the land for years to come.
The Chattahoochee Hill Country Conservancy is partnering with the South Fulton Young Farmers chapter @ Creekside High School and our very own, Dear Creek Farm, to help more people grow food while strengthening our local agricultural community. Through this partnership, chapter members can participate in a bulk fruit tree order from Bottoms Nursery.
Whether you are starting a home orchard or expanding what you already grow, this is an opportunity to plant for the future and join a community that can help you along the way.
Available options include apple, peach, pear, Asian pear, plum, plumcot, fig, persimmon, mulberry, pomegranate, and pecan trees, plus berry bushes, muscadines, and grapevines. Varieties and sizes are subject to availability.

HOW TO ORDER YOUR TREES
1) Join or renew your membership. A current South Fulton Young Farmers membership is required. Complete the attached application and return it to Traves Hyman, who can help coordinate your membership payment. Annual membership is $20 for an individual, $30 for a couple, or $50 for a family of two adults and two children. Membership brings opportunities to learn through agricultural classes and tours, access shared resources, and connect with other farmers and backyard growers. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A FARMER TO JOIN!

2) Choose your trees. Review the attached Bottoms Nursery availability list and select your varieties, sizes, and quantities. Each order must include at least 10 trees. Many 5 gallon fruit trees are listed at $15.50 each, with availability varying by variety.
3) Submit your order AND your membership form by September 20, 2026.

In the body of the email: YOU MUST Include your name, phone number, and the variety, container size, and quantity of each tree requested.
Your membership must be current to participate.
