Saltz & Peppa Pork

Heritage pigs, forest pasture, and thoughtfully raised food from a family-run homestead called The Refuge.

Raised in the woods. Shared at the table.

At The Refuge, heritage Mangalitsa and Duroc-cross pigs are raised within a forest farm bounded by White Oak Creek. The Dickinsons focus on natural foraging and thoughtful land management.

Explore their online shop for pork cuts, sausage, smoked specialties, and small-batch products. Most visitors connect through preorders and local pickups; on-farm visits need to be arranged directly.
